In this game, we take on the role of the Old God, Hastur, who has descended to Earth in his yellow robes. However, he is accidentally summoned to the wrong place—the Temple of Cthulhu, a place that worships his sworn enemy. Because of this, Hastur is severely weakened. The player's goal is to wipe out all of Cthulhu's fanatic worshippers and restore Hastur's lost power.
